We uphold the basic beliefs of evangelical Christians and are part of the Evangelical Alliance in the UK - this means that we stand with them and the many churches they represent in the common Basis of Faith.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God and the final authority for all our teaching and doctrine. It is powerful and relevant to our everyday lives.

We believe that God sent his son Jesus Christ into the world to rescue us from our sin through his sacrificial death on a cross. After three days he rose from the dead in victory over sin and death. Through faith in Jesus we can receive his gift of righteousness by grace.

We believe God is with us by the work of the Holy Spirit - empowering our discipleship and enabling our witness.

We are committed to the local church and believe it is the best way to reach our community and the nations with the gospel.

We believe that the Ephesians 4 ministries of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers are relevant for today.

We believe in the Great Commission to take the gospel to the whole world.
